Privacy at SihatunaCare

We designed SihatunaCare around a simple principle: health information should remain private, secure, and under your control.

Information We Collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, city, gender, and sign-in credentials. Using the app adds the health records needed to care for you: appointments, prescriptions, medication reminders, and the reviews you write. Photos are stored only when you choose to add them, such as a profile photo or a scanned prescription. We do not collect your location, your contacts, or advertising identifiers.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used only to run the service: creating your account, booking and managing appointments, delivering medication reminders and notifications, connecting you with the doctors, medical centers, and pharmacies you choose, and keeping your account secure. We never use your health information for advertising.

How We Protect Your Information

Your data travels over encrypted connections, and sensitive medical content such as prescriptions and medication details is additionally encrypted in storage. Reminder notifications never contain a medicine name, a diagnosis, or any medical detail — those stay behind your sign-in. Every request is authorized on our servers, and access is limited to the people involved in your care.

Sharing Your Information

Your health information is visible only to the doctor, medical center, or pharmacy you choose to book with — they see what they need to treat you and nothing more. We rely on a small number of service providers, such as email delivery, bound by contract to process data only on our instructions. We never sell personal information and never share it for marketing.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information only while your account is active or while the law requires a record to be kept. You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app, or through our website if you no longer have access to the app. When you delete your account, your personal information is removed; some records may be retained where the law requires it, such as medical record-keeping obligations.

Deleting your account

Your Rights

You can view and correct your personal details at any time from your profile, ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and request deletion. To exercise any of these rights, use the app settings or contact us — we respond to every request.

Changes to This Policy

When this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will tell you inside the app or by email before the change takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continuing to use SihatunaCare after a change means you accept the updated policy.
